My passion for poker

Qui_Nguyen

Since my arrival in the United States in 2001, poker has been the driving force behind my life’s journey. From the humble beginnings of small limit cash games to the pinnacle of my career as the champion of the 2016 WSOP Main Event, my path has been nothing short of extraordinary.

Beyond the exhilaration of poker, I find solace in the embrace of nature’s beauty. Whether it’s the serenity of hiking through majestic landscapes or the awe-inspiring starlit sky, the outdoors provide me with a profound sense of peace and inspiration. Furthermore, the culinary arts have become a canvas for my creativity. The fusion of flavors and the alchemy of ingredients bring joy to my soul as I craft exquisite culinary masterpieces. But perhaps the greatest gift that poker has bestowed upon me is the treasure of lasting friendships. The bonds forged through this shared passion transcend borders and serve as a testament to the universal language of cards and chips.

My Career

In 2001, I embraced poker after moving to the US from Vietnam. Starting with small limit cash games in 2003, I honed my skills and found success in various events, including the presence of the Fun88 betting platform. Transitioning to no-limit games in Las Vegas in 2007, my career gained momentum.
A breakthrough came in 2009 when I cashed in a WSOP event, fueling my ambition. Then, in 2016, I reached the WSOP Main Event November Nine with the second-largest chip stack. Through an intense final table, I emerged as the champion, claiming $8,005,310.
Beyond poker, I find solace in nature and joy in cooking. Most importantly, poker has given me lasting friendships and a shared passion with others. My journey continues, and I eagerly anticipate the future. Let the adventure unfold!
